OUR SERVICES

Introduction!

A Content Management System (CMS) is software that allows you to create, manage, and change a website even if you lack specific technical skills or experience.

By using a content management system (CMS), it is simple to manage the content of a website without needing to know how to code or repeatedly hiring a web developer. In other words, a CMS is a tool that makes it simple to add fresh content and graphics to your website without any hassle.

In addition to managing the text and graphics that are shown on a website, content management systems (CMS) also help with user session tracking, handling search queries, gathering visitor feedback and comments, hosting forums on the website, etc.

Types of Content Management Systems:

CMS software is classified into three types: open source, proprietary, and Software-as-a-Service CMS, which includes cloud-based solutions.

Open-source content management system.

Open-source CMS software is available for free download. There are no commitments, license fees, or upgrade costs. Open source CMS, however, may need the payment for:-

  • Technical help during setup and installation
  • Customisation to extend the software beyond the basic offering.
  • Compatible templates, add-ons, and plugins (although free versions may be available)
  • Training of the staff
  • Support (including regularly updating the software)
Commercial or Proprietary CMS.

Commercial or proprietary CMS software is created and maintained by a single business. Utilizing such a CMS typically entails:

Purchasing a license to use the program, and paying recurring or yearly fees for updates or support. Additional fees for customization, upgrades, training, and the continuing user or technical support may also be necessary.

SaaS (Software as a Service) CMS.

Web content management software, web hosting, and technical support are frequently included in SaaS CMS packages from a single vendor. These are cloud-based virtual services that are based on a subscription model and are often priced by the user or per site. Typically, the cost consists of:-

  • Data transmission volume (ie bandwidth to and from your site)
  • Ongoing support
  • Storage for your content and data

There are two different kinds of cloud content management systems:

“Fully cloud” CMS frequently comes with a bundle or service. It’s not always feasible to modify or customize these systems’ functionality to meet your demands because they are often proprietary systems that are under the supplier’s control.

“Partial Cloud” CMS is housed on your personal cloud web server. Since you may change the functionality with add-on modules or by changing the source code, it offers more flexibility.

Importance & Benefits of CMS

Saves time:

Using a CMS may substantially speed up the development of a website. The time spent on development and deployment is significantly reduced.

Lower cost of development:

A number of open-source CMSs are available for free download and installation. Consequently, it lowers the price of development.

Easy to incorporate critical functions:

The majority of CMS makes it easy to incorporate crucial functions like forms, polls, quizzes, event calendars, etc. on the website or webpage. These capabilities would be challenging to provide without a CMS.

No coding knowledge required:

Even those with little to no technical knowledge may quickly publish, edit, or alter material on the website or page because of how user-friendly it is.
